Canberra Juniors 7s Naming Rights Sponsor

The Canberra Junior 7s is Uni-Norths Juniors major fundraising event for the year. It is a one-day rugby 7s tournament for kids from under 8s through to under 15s.

A traditional way to end the junior rugby  season for more than 20 years, the tournament attracts over 900 players and approximately 2000 attendees. We expect the tournament to grow further this year with the addition of the u15s division.

We are seeking a naming rights sponsor to be associated with this highly regarded event and help support Uni-Norths Owls Junior Rugby for one or more years.

The event will be held in  September at Southwell Park in Lyneham, ACT.

Last year we had  89 teams entered for ~900 players and 2000 attendees. Of these, 64 teams (~640 players/1300 attendees) were from outside the Canberra region (mainly Sydney and surrounds).

The event has a fantastic reputation - ratings from our feedback survey were all good, very good or excellent with 896% in the very good or excellent categories and a Net Promoter Score of 84.

We are seeking a naming rights sponsor so the event would become know as the "Sponsor" Canberra Juniors 7s. The naming rights sponsor would be the sole sponsor of the event.

Benefits for the sponsor would include:

• full naming rights
• signage at the event
• acknowledgement in all tournament communications
• option to hand out marketing material on the day

We are open to a sponsorship for one or more years.

This event is our major fundraiser for the year and covers a large portion of the running expenses of our junior club. While we do have jersey sponsors, the club could not function without the money raised from this tournament.

The kind of expense we cover include:

• ground hire
• training equipment purchase
• subsidised registration for families in financial hardship
• special tournament entry costs for our teams
• coach training costs
• transport costs to long distance away games
